Hedgehogs in the Morning

Hedgehog Fight

This is another fun exercise we did. We were asked to make a ball that bounces off a wall using the motion editor. This is probably the only time I've used motion editor with the exception of rotation. I find I have more success doing it on my own and it looks better. It also looks better with the proper crop.

Interactive Page

Interactive Kitchen

This is where I start to develop my personal style. It's an interactive page with lots of moving objects. Some things are clickable, some are dragable, some are musical. Play with everything and see what you find. I would like to go back and give it some more clarity now that I'm more experienced.

Walk Cycle

Dude Walking to Ameoba

This is one of my early walk cycles. I'm still working on this. The person was not supposed to look good. I threw on some super quick clothes. What can I say? He's a modest guy on his way to Ameoba Records.

Getting my Artsy on

Karoke Ad (Can you spot the fluffy dog?)

This is the second project we did. There are a lot of timing issues. I'm much better at this now. This is an advertisement for Karoke. It's a little wacky. I was still finding my style.

My Favorite Food

Pistachio Attack

This is one of the first projects I did in Flash. One of my favorite foods is Everybody's Nuts Pistachios and we had to me a short advertisement for a product so I chose them. The logo is from their website and the pistachios are based on their mascot. Unfortunately the edges are not clean. I just thought it was fun.

Tofu Coconut Curry

1 pack Extra Firm Tofu
1 cup Jasmine Rice
1 can Coconut Milk
2 tbsp Red Curry Paste
1 stalk of Lemongrass
2 tsp Fish Sauce
1 tbs minced Ginger
1 Red Bell Pepper
Some Sliced Mushrooms
Green Beans (handful works)
Honestly, any other veggies you would like to add

1. Prepare your tofu. Drain the tofu and dry on a towel. Cut in half horizontally and the into cubes.
2. In a skillet with no oil and on low heat, brown the tofu. Low heat is the key to keep it from sticking.
3. Press with a spatula often to help remove the water.

There are several marinades on the internet that your can use to give it some flavor. For this recipe I'm just going to leave it alone. Next let's make some rice.

1. Boil 1 1/2 cups of water.
2. Add 1 cup of rice and stir often until the rice absorbs all of the water.

Now for the final stretch of this recipe. The sauce.

1. Start boiling one can of coconut milk.
2. Add Red Curry Paste, Lemongrass, Fish Sauce, Minced Ginger and bring to a boil.
3. Next add your veggies and your tofu and let simmer to help give the flavor to everything. I stop cooking when the mushrooms are cooked.

Last, but not least--Get your eat on.
